In the novel The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the protagonist, Jay Gatsby, is a bass piece whose true sides are revealed as the curb unfolds. In the beginning of the novel, Gatsbys image is one of a major(ip) famous soulfulness who enjoys throwing parties. As the bear develops, Gatsby is met for the first time, and information somewhat him and his setting is revealed. Finally as the book comes to an end, Gatsby true character is fully exposed. Gatsby shows his thickness again when he answers underground phone calls, and also the incident that he keeps his work style secret. A side other then Gatsbys orphic side is seen when he is around Daisy. When he first encounters her, he is nervous and runs away.

This quote shows that eventually however, Gatsby finds a comfort zone and acts calm and naive around Daisy, rouse a childlike side of Gatsby.
